Account & Data Deletion

This page explains how to delete your GymSync account and associated data. GymSync is operated by Muhammed Hasan Keskin (public developer brand: MHK Technology Solutions).

Option 1 — Delete in the app (fastest)

1. Open GymSync and sign in.
2. Go to Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account.
3. Confirm the two deletion prompts.

Your account and cloud social data are permanently removed.

Option 2 — Request deletion by web / email

If you cannot use the app, email [email protected] from the email address associated with your account, with the subject “Delete my account”.

Verification steps

• Send the request from your account email address (used to confirm ownership).
• We may ask you to confirm your username or display name to verify the account.
• Once verified, we process the deletion and confirm by email.

What data is deleted

• account and authentication data (email, user ID)
• profile data (username, display name, bio, avatar, approximate city, fitness fields)
• cloud social data reasonably linked to your account: friendships, messages you sent, shared workout summaries, push device tokens, notifications, and notification preferences
• reports you submitted

Retention exceptions

Some data may be retained where required by law, for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or security. In particular, moderation-report evidence you are the subject of (including a message snapshot) may be retained for up to 180 days after resolution so that safety reports remain actionable even after an account is deleted. Residual copies may persist temporarily in backups or logs. See the Privacy Policy and Moderation Process.
